Do not bend the cords next to the adapter the plastic will start to come rotten and it can be a safty hazard. and if the lantern on the adaper does not stay one when it is plugged into the system there could be an internal error on the adapter newly call dell adn they will replace the quantity. as well for the freyed line. if you need lend a hand call Dell gold ingots support and they we can help you. 866-876-3355.
Just give the name them and they will fix it. Don't ever say it be your fault. You still hold a one year warranty or more if you've extended it. Don't have it other connected to the power, this reduces battery-operated life and cause the computer to overheat.
Don't yank the adaptor or stretch it. Always verbs it from the socket (wall and computer) using the plasticy/rubbery part to hand the socket itself. Try never to crush it. If the adaptor is provided with a channel of wrapping it around itself, use that but be sure not to wind it too tight.
a short time ago dont touch it unless you need to that should do the trick
