I own a gadget that shows CPU and physical memory...what exacticaly is the differenence?
CPU indicators show you a real-time picture of your system clock cycles. The number of cycles rises next to user, system, or application activity. As a rule, low is dutiful.
Physical memory is RAM or random-access memory. This is the holding place for what's needed to handle applications currently surrounded by use or frequently used. For instance if you have 512MB RAM, you will know how to see how much is being used pretty much at any instant.
Of course if you Ctrl-Alt-Delete to amenable Task Manager you get matching data. Click on the Performance tab to obtain a better view.
