Unless you can happen to find a torrent, or some other place that will tolerate you get it from someone that lately happens to hold the EXACT same system model that you do, most likely not. I don't know of any service where on earth you can pay to download something close to this either.



You could other try and contact Acer to see if they will sell or dispatch you a replacement one, but the answer will probably be no.



If it were me, I would only get an operating system from elsewhere (whatever you are wanting to use, XP, 2000, Vista, etc.), and consequently grab the drivers and other stuff needed for the system stale of Acer's website at www.acer.com, under their support clause. This is much better than any Recovery disc anyway, because the install is clean and not cluttered next to a whole bunch of other cast-offs software that you may or may not use that Acer has fixed to give you for free. Yeah, you can uninstall it, but sometimes it can do more doomed to failure than good, human being there surrounded by the first place.



If at that point you feel close to you need a seizure disc, make a backup of the system at that point using something close to Norton Ghost.

Yes. But LCDs for laptops are pretty expensive (though not as bleak as they used to be). If you know someone who could install it... you could check for an lcd that would work on that computer, on Ebay. Even used would be all right so long as the picture is clear, short hot spots, and doesn't come up with a pinkish hue.
Screens can be replaced, but I believe they are recurrently nearly as expensive as getting a new computer.

I did something to my dell laptop and presently the desktop judgment is horizontal instead of vertical. How do I fix it

Down by the clock look for an god that looks like a monitor, or the nvida, or possibly ATI logos. Right click it, and desktop rotation will most expected be in the menu somewhere.
click and drag the side of the desktop vista to the right position
looks like its a vista.



click right button on your mouse, click on rotate and you'll be fine;)
within control panel goto graphics controller property.



under the tab Rotation, check commonplace.



apply.



it works.
If you are using windows the best and the safest bearing is to system restore to back date.

Click on Start

Click All programs

Click Accessories

Click System Tools

Click System Restore



Note: system restore will not delete or fine-tuning any file.



Follow the eyeshade guidance and that will solve your problem.

If, by black and white, you penny-pinching that there is a picture, after you probably need to update to the up-to-the-minute video drivers.



Or if by black and white you mean within is no signal, then you should dance to the graphics control panel, and try (if it is an nvidia card) to run the TV setup, and tweak the settings.



Also, if you are running vista, this can have a detrimental effect, as the vista video drivers still enjoy many problems beside TV output, etc.

Probably because your laptop isn't equipped near a TV tuner; different frequencies produce incompatibilities.

press the function button next to f4 , i have duplicate laptop and it works this way , u own to give the laptop the writ to send the blind signal to the external monitor , in this covering , the tv.

its easy after connecting, hit right click consequently there is pictographic options, hit monior or laptop + monitor. this should work. or here might be some wire problem.

try holding the power button for 15 second, otherwise unplug it and take out the battery-operated
1.First of all try to look for virus in your system!! you must own an anti virus installed. Viruses can do anything these days ;)

I can't see the net statue!?!?!?

Help! I hold a vista laptop, but I cannot see the network or volume icon in the right appendage side of the taskbar. Every time I try to change it by going to the properties menu, the show clock and power are checked, but I can't check the other ones. They come across to be a light gray color as though I'm not supposed to transfer it. Please Help!

it could be that you dont have them checked for startup within MS config. What you should do is this, and dont do it wrong



In run or the search type - msconfig

click the startup tab

check for something that say something like audio, and oce yu find it you should check it on if it is not already



For network do the samething, it will say something similar to networking options or simply enjoy networking surrounded by it.



If that doesnt work, the following should do it

Lets start with nouns

Go to control panel

Click network and internet

eh ably from this point you shoould search for a setting surrounded by that area. If you want the god, theere will be abox that says maintain icon at taskbarr or something. Im on a desktop so i cant really give a hand past this point.

It all depends on the brand of nouns top, but usually there is a setting that dims the blind when it is not plugged into the power source, ie, when running on batteries. Look contained by you power settings or monitor settings.

i can monitor the clips on my cam corder, but when i plug it into my pc it say it cant play em. says its an MOD file anything that is. WMP tries to download unsullied codecs but cant find any, have tried authentic player and quicktime but no luck.

depends on the camcorder type .. u prolly need the software that comes beside it to finalize it on the pc first into anything format .. mpeg2 .. only other selection would be to use a capture card ...

Have u got a software disk for ur camera asnd vdid vu nouns it on to ur pc. Thats for starters, its amazing how heaps people dont download software provided.

This problem should be quite graceful to fix. .MOD files are just a proprietary variability of the MPEG - 2 file format. This is what you do:

- Transfer the video directory from your camcorder to your PC

- Go into the file and rename it next to the .MPG extension. (ie: mymovie.MPG instead of mymovie.MOD)

- Now try playing it with any software you hold that supports the .MPG file format. In adjectives likelyhood you will have one.
three things you can try

1. find the disk that come with the camera or download it sour the net to gain a program that will either convert the files or will play them. (if it exists will work)



2. include .mpg at the end of respectively file autograph (might work, not certain though)



3. force out the net for a program that will support the profile type, try searching for VLC medium player. as far as i know it will play anything apart from a quick time database.
Try investing in a firewire cable if your laptop is firewire capable it should work fine.
