I own A compaq V6211AU. I changed from vista to XP. I cannot find the audio driver at the ceremonial site.?

can someone suggest an alternative site. gratitude!

If Compaq made it for Vista and you downgraded to XP. there is a prospect the audio hardware may just not own an audio driver made for it yet. Call Compaq/HP for unshakable however. They should be able to head you in the right direction. 1-800-474-6836
xp automaticly find the oudio driver .

If you can not find the Vista driver at any the Compaq company site or the company that built your sound card. Chances are that at hand has be no Vista driver developed as of yet.



This is the biggest downfall of Vista. That copious devices out there hold no drivers that are Vista compatible.
from what i can work out at the hp website your computer comes up with this for audio
