I cant play video bad my cam corder.``?

i can monitor the clips on my cam corder, but when i plug it into my pc it say it cant play em. says its an MOD file anything that is. WMP tries to download unsullied codecs but cant find any, have tried authentic player and quicktime but no luck.

depends on the camcorder type .. u prolly need the software that comes beside it to finalize it on the pc first into anything format .. mpeg2 .. only other selection would be to use a capture card ...

Have u got a software disk for ur camera asnd vdid vu nouns it on to ur pc. Thats for starters, its amazing how heaps people dont download software provided.

This problem should be quite graceful to fix. .MOD files are just a proprietary variability of the MPEG - 2 file format. This is what you do:

- Transfer the video directory from your camcorder to your PC

- Go into the file and rename it next to the .MPG extension. (ie: mymovie.MPG instead of mymovie.MOD)

- Now try playing it with any software you hold that supports the .MPG file format. In adjectives likelyhood you will have one.
three things you can try

1. find the disk that come with the camera or download it sour the net to gain a program that will either convert the files or will play them. (if it exists will work)



2. include .mpg at the end of respectively file autograph (might work, not certain though)



3. force out the net for a program that will support the profile type, try searching for VLC medium player. as far as i know it will play anything apart from a quick time database.
Try investing in a firewire cable if your laptop is firewire capable it should work fine.
