I own a d600 lattitude laptop?

Yes but you will entail to backup all your information from the old unyielding drive and then use your Dell Recovery Disks to reinstall the OS and programs to the foreign hard drive. However, if your notebook is below warranty replacing the hard drive may cancelled your warranty.
Noooooooooooooooooo you should not do it by yourself even if you are an expert. It should not support it.
This shouldn't be a problem, just be paid sure you have your notes backed up on a seperate medium. It can be tricky to get your information from one disk to another on a laptop or take it your local computer store and enjoy them do it.
Actually replacing the HD in a laptop is one of the more unproblematic things to do. The drives are smaller and more expensive than the desktop counterparts. If you have a desktop, you can purchase a laptop harddrive adapter to plug into an available SATA/IDE port, or net to your desktop and transfer your files in attendance. Otherwise a simple CD/DVD backup will suffice.
