Press F11 on hp startup peak and click destructive recovery.
did you format it first?
start within safe mode progress to control panel look for system restore activate it consent to it do its job stay sour the porn sites LOL.
To enter safe mode, you merely hold down the F8 key previously the Windows XP screen comes up. You will see a menu near a bunch of options such as safe and sound mode, safe mode near network support, past the worst mode with command prompt, etc. See if you can start your computer that agency before doing anything else.

Try reformatting manually and the boot from the XP compact disc if all else fail. To do the format, if you have a 3.5 floppy drive you necessitate to create a bootable disk. In XP it is a little tricky, but you can download boot disk descriptions from bootdisk.com and make a floppy. If you don't own a floppy drive, you can burn a CD that will do like thing. So boot from this disk and you should come up to a command prompt. Type format c: at the command. You will be warn that everything will be erased in the format...so hit yes and proceed. When formatting is done, remove the floppy or compact disc from the drive and insert the Windows XP CD, next reboot. During setup, XP may still want to reformat again to convert your file system from FAT32 to NTFS. Good luck.
