I call for help, early! Which laptop would be better for some music but mostly everyday college work?

this is the EXACT dilemma I was contained by. For a while I thought the special edition is way better. But the battery-operated life of it is HORRIBLE. It also attacts finger prints similar to crazy. The whole laptop is atually plasticy, and it feel kind of cheap. There is no latch to hold it closed, so it is not a firm closing. The HP notebook comes beside a 1.3 mp webcam but the 1520 comes with a 2.0 mp. Also the dell 1520 is cheaper but have better performance as powerfully. and you could also customize its color. You get blue or white or red or black or doesn`t matter what. The battery natural life of the inspiron dell is also very excellent. The one and only con to the 1520 is that it is just a tad bit heavier than the hp. more or less a fourth of a pound. so i say... Make sure you can get matching parts on both of them. Customize one with everything you want, after see if the components are the same. Both are comparable.
