I am have issues next to a wireless card on a gateway laptop. everytime it is plugged within, it freezes the comp??

when i plug contained by the wireless card, the computer freezes up. as soon as i take the card out, the mouse will work again, etc.i hold had to not long reinstall windows vista, and i reckon that that might be affecting it, but the driver is good, and it used to work. i simply don't get it.any relief would be good.

Turn bad the PC... Insert the card then restart the PC...
Take the card out.

Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall any software that come bundled with the card. Many times software is installed that take over the connection for Windows - Windows does not similar to this.



Go to Device Manager and uninstall the card.



If you have the disc with the drivers insert the compact disc - cancel out of the auto install - install the drivers ONLY.



Shut down the computer.



Restart and consent to Windows find the drivers.
