i hold an HPz7168cl notebook.
i have a problem near it, being that the laptop will adopt ac power and will work fine, but it will not charge my laptop. this makes it so i can lone use my laptop when it is plugged in.
rough and ready summary.
laptop works when plugged in, but does not charge.
is near any help i can win for this type of problem?
my guess is its a broken battery, but i want to receive some insight before i budge out and by some.

I have see this very issue solved by replacing the battery-operated and suggest you do just that. It will cost you almost $100 new.
Anything smaller amount will be a good deal.
if you can, try getting a freestyle that you know works. swap that out with your current battery-operated. if it does charge then you know its your battery-operated that has the problems. if you're still beneath warranty, consider sending it back to hp for a replacement or repair. don't stir to bestbuy or other retailers to use their geek squad or firedog service.
